New Delhi, May 18, 2025 — The 7th Ambedkar National Games 2025, organized by the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Sports Foundation, concluded with great success at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi, after three days of high-energy competition and enthusiastic participation from May 16 to 18, 2025.

This year’s edition brought together over 550 athletes from 15 different states across India, competing in a wide range of disciplines including:

  • Karate
  • Taekwondo
  • Tangsoodo
  • Grappling
  • Silambam
  • Yoga
  • Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)

Celebrating Sports and Social Empowerment

The event was not only a celebration of athletic excellence but also a powerful tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, whose vision of equality, empowerment, and social justice continues to inspire generations. The Games were designed to promote grassroots talent, especially among youth from underrepresented communities, and to encourage participation in martial arts and indigenous sports.

Opening and Highlights

The opening ceremony on May 16 featured traditional performances and a parade of athletes, setting a vibrant tone for the competition. Across the three days, Talkatora Stadium was filled with cheers, discipline, and displays of skill as athletes vied for medals and recognition.
