SpaceX founder and billionaire businessman Elon Musk has said that his Starship rocket will leave for Mars by the end of next year. Musk said in a post on social media platform X, "If the initial mission is successful, human landing on Mars can start in 2029. However, 2031 is more likely."

Starship, the largest rocket ever built at 123 meters high, is a major step towards Musk's ambition to send humans to Mars. However, it has faced failure several times in tests.

Last week, the Starship rocket was launched from Texas, which exploded shortly after launch. This was the second failure of this year. Earlier in January also there was a failure to send it.
